THE LAST DANCE
AI Director & Video Editor
A cinematic short film created through an AI-driven filmmaking process.
This deeply personal project was approached as a traditional film from the outset, with a script, characters, locations, cinematography, storyboards and a complete visual direction.
Once the story was locked, I broke the script down shot by shot, developing detailed prompts to create the visual language, storyboards and keyframes for every scene. Once I had an image lock, I developed those frames into moving sequences through multiple iterations, working across different AI models to achieve the performances, camera movement, atmosphere and continuity required.
Once I had a solid first edit, I composed and developed the film's musical score using Suno, creating music specifically around the rhythm, emotion and narrative progression of the edit. The final film was then refined through further editing, compositing and colour grading in Premiere Pro.
This was not a film created from a single generated image or a single prompt. It was a full cinematic production process involving extensive iteration, multiple AI models, compositing, grading and editing, treating AI as a filmmaking medium rather than a shortcut.
The result is an example of how traditional cinematic craft can be combined with generative AI to create high-end visual storytelling without a conventional production footprint.
AI doesn't replace the filmmaker. It expands what the filmmaker can imagine, direct and produce.
